An openly gay illegal alien will be able to join our armed forces.

"With defeat on the omnibus, however, came some promise for Democrats. In pulling the spending bill from consideration, Reid announced that he was filing cloture on two of the party's other major priorities: the DREAM Act, which would grant pathways to citizenship for children of illegal immigrants, and the stand-alone repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, the military law that restricts openly gay members from serving."

If both of these pass go ahead and stick a fork in the US.

Call your senators tomorrow, can't hurt.

Edit: I forgot about the START treaty. Might as well disarm our nuclear arsenal too.

NumbersUSA is tracking the amnesty bill very closely, and it's going to come down to how three of four Senators vote.

What is the latest date that this Congress can stay in session?

I need to mark it on my calender so I know when I can take a break for being constantly pissed off.

That's how they roll. Some of the most nefarious legislation has been passed on christmas eve. Such as the federal reserve act.

I'm not overly concerned about illegals joining the military.  For starters, it's up to us who is allowed in; they can't just show up en masse and swarm.    Likewise, many countries have used military service as a path to citizenship.  The French Foreign Legion is a prime example.

Would you rather they just have anchor babies?

The two years in school as "service" is bullshit, though.  Fuck them.

They're pushing this treaty too hard - there is something in there that is unfavorable to us.

It probably limits our bomber fleet too much & guarantees we cannot develop defensive missile shields.

Here toy go;

Reagan Aide Perle: START 'Seriously Flawed'

...“It’s a seriously flawed treaty,” Perle, now a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, says during an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV. “It’s certainly not the kind of treaty Ronald Reagan fought for and accomplished.”

The pact is very weak on verification, he says. “For example, our right to inspections is limited to sites the Russians declare . . . which makes a mockery of the whole idea of on-site inspections,” Perle explains...

...“The Senate has never seen the full negotiating record on the treaty.”

That’s because the Obama administration doesn’t want a serious examination of the dispute between the United States and Russia over ballistic missile defense, Perle says.

“Russia claims that, if we build future ballistic missile defenses that impinge on what they believe to be their national security, then all bets are off, and the treaty no longer applies,” he says. “That would inhibit our ballistic missile defense program, even though it’s not aimed at Russia — it’s aimed at Iran, North Korea, and others.”

The Obama administration essentially has handed Russia a veto over our missile defense program, Perle says. “At any point they can say we don’t like what you’re doing, you’re putting us in a position where we’ll walk away from this treaty. I think this president would back down under those circumstances.”

A close examination of all this is vital, but the White House refuses to turn over the negotiating records, says Perle, who was President Ronald Reagan’s assistant defense secretary...

I'll stick with Fox, Beck, and the original sources he uses for his history lessons over the crap they teach in schools today.

It doesn't matter - START 2 is a bad deal that fucks us.

If it was on the level they wouldn't be trying to ram it through in a lame duck session instead of releasing all the details.

And those two years in school will be paid for with your tax dollars.

It has nothing to do with service in our armed forces that the Democrats are trying to get you to believe.  Very few "illegals" will be enlisting.  This is just a ploy to get others into the country or made legal who are not teenagers brought here by their parents.

If they are not "releasing all the details" what is this...

http://www.state.gov/t/avc/newstart/c39903.htm

The link is to a  State Department website that claims to be the full text of the start treaty.  Now I am sure some talk show host somewhere is probably saying that but that looks like "all the details" to me...
