Evidence of this can be read into the commitment today when Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov told Colin Powell his government would not object to [i][u][b]ANY[/b][/u][/i] U.S. efforts to seek anti-terrorism cooperation from the three former Soviet republics that border Afghanistan. I don't completely trust Putin, however, he cannot believe that any covert (read as terrorism) effort to destabilize the West is the way to a prosperous future for the Russian motherland.[/size=2] - opinion?
