There has to be a sanctuary somewhere in America away the chaos if Kerry wins. I know it depends so much on each person's situation that one right answer is impossible for everyone.

I'm hoping there will be a conservative rebellion forming somewhere in the West, maybe Alaska.  it will have to be as far from each Coast as possible.  Away from big cities with their lousy democrats.

After this election there will be more arguing and hatred then there has ever been before.  I'm hoping the Dick Cheney will use his family as his reason to pass on the VP job.  If McCain accepted it could swing the balance enough for a solid win.  Even though he's not my first choice.

I'm not going to give up my guns or my freedom to use them. Or my other hobbies. I'd rather be dead.  I'm 66 years old (luckily), retired, no kids, happily married to a retired wife, and I couldn't take 4 years of Kerry, maybe even 8 years.  Nothing really keeps us in WI.

God bless the America there once was...

Don't be silly.  The ultimate danger of Kerry is SCOTUS appointments.  He can't do dick without a supportive congress, and they are not about to give him a break if he gets in.

America is not a dictatorship.

I used to want to move to South Africa.  That's pretty much been ruined now (no racist intent meant, but the new .gov there sure has done an excellent job of flushing the country down the toilet).

At least for the time being no matter how bad it gets here, it's still the best place to be.

True, true.  However, it's often the White House that sets the "tone" for the rest of the country.  I'd just as soon have a Republican White House and a Republican Congress.  I'd like to see this country return to the core values it had when I was growing up.  Actually, what I'd REALLY like to see are the Vietnam era leftists out of the government.  Both the forefront and the deep dark recesses where they hide until they make a judicial nomination.  I can dream can't I?

People please, America survived the 70s, and that was the peak of liberalism.

The things that went on then, and even worse in the '30s would make chump change out of what Kerry will be able to do...

I will hold my little corner of WI, thank you. And the rest of you should do the same. Even if it were possible to get everyone together, the socialists would eventually get around to you anyway. And in the meantime you've given them most all the country. No, not me. It's our country.

Some of you are a bunch of defeatists.  It isn't even November and you're already looking to leave YOUR country.  How sad.

I think we should start an ARFCOM charity fund to hire a private detective to find all the missing testicles around here.

What am I going to do?

I'm going to kiss my wife, go outside and look at the world.

Then light up a fine cigar, pour myself a Jack on the rocks, take a deep breath, and appreciate the fact that I am alive and I STILL live in the GREATEST country in the world!!!

Then fight like hell to keep Hillary out of office in '08'

Oh, and if you haven't heard....... Bush ain't gonna lose!

My problem is I'm 67 years old and likely I've only got another 4-6 years... I was hoping to spend my "golden years" in a free country.  Pres. Bush will probably win but there's gonna be so much Democratic cheating and lawsuits and fist fights at poll booths...

Maybe Cheney will turn down the VP slot because of the flack about his daughter.  It would be a great excuse to realign the ticket.
