There is little rhyme or reason to whether a thread gets locked.
Much of is subjective. Majic 8 ball says you will be safe, but... There are no guarantees.

Honest answer...
It may not get locked. However, any true "deals" posted will also get posted on slick. The ammo will be oos in minutes. Then you will be back to fighting for overpriced scraps. If you want to focus on local sources then the HTF section would be a good place. |

No, that's not the point of that forum, any more than the point of AR Discussions is to answer "Where can I buy this AR?" questions. They are tech forums for the discussions of the technical aspects of ammo - performance, ballistics, etc. Not "Jim Bob's Bait & Tackle has Tula in stock!". |

I policed that old Ammo Availability thread for a while - sending PMs to the fucking idiots and telling them to follow the most basic of instructions and read/follow the thread title, but noooooo, they were having none of it. The fucking '13ers ruined it for everyone and wonder why they're reviled here.
