Kerry is in Good position.
Kennedy is too old.
Hillary hasn't been around long enough.
Same with Edwards.
Carl Levin, maybe.
Charles Schumer might make a try.
Harry Reed is too moderate, though he is the Whip.
Technically the Whip is the XO.

Can't be Edwards he's gone.  Most likely Kerry just to be the biggest thorn in the Rep's. side.   Billery won't be around that much longer, surely those people won't re-up her.

Biden
Boxer
Leahy
Schumer - he would be in heaven with all the camera face time.
Edwards is gone, his seat is up for grabs - looks like a Republican pickup too.
Kerry would be in good shape
Levin's health hasn't been very good the past couple of years.

If Daschle loses, who leads the Dems now?

Michael Moore

Reid is definitely stumping for it; but the question is do the Dems want a moderate in a Red state for the Senate Majority Leader or a leftist from a blue state who can say the same crazy stuff Daschle did without having to worry about waking up one election morn and finding his bags packed.

I think they'll go leftist... The Dem's (at least the current ones) don't seem to understand that reactionarily going to the left doesn't help them...

I would like for Schumer to get the position, cause then the rest of america could see him as the incredibly arrogant and ignorant asshat that he really is.

I would almost take Kerry if it assured a loss for Dashle.

I can't believe you just said that!!!

Daschle is an impotent, neutered, emasculated eunach in the Senate. As long as the Repubs hold the Senate, he's nothing.
