Either a Nighthawk 2011 or an HK SP5. Both would come in well under $10k

I'm torn on this. Practical value is in a nice bolt gun in some big caliber like 338 lapua or bigger. But my heart is telling me an absurd bespoke 1911.

Either:
-Barrett .50 of some type. I have a Nightforce BEAST without a home right now.
-MCR upper with spare barrel, SAW nutsack cut lower with FRT and a nice stock.
-M1941 Johnson with USMC provenance.

Leaning towards the last one, honestly.

Best part is it replaces your grill with matching gold teeth, right there.

I know a guy that bought one for $8,500 within the past year. It was a local deal and he had hundred dollar bills to hand the guy same day.

Right place and time I guess.

I'd go for a customized Winchester 1886 in 45-70. Specifically a take down trapper by Doug Turnbull with moose engraved on one side & a grizzly on the other.

A nice European double shotgun or .375 H&H bolt action with wood to die for. Add engraving until the budget runs out.

Let me teach you the ways of making stupid gunbroker bids.

Step 1: Add bourbon.

I would buy a collectable gun that will increase in value and pack it for long term storage. Sell in 20 years when I need the money for whatever old age medical bills.

Maybe something antique/historical. Haven't been in the market for that before so I'd need to do some research.

Long ago figured out cheap guns are way more fun - can go rough and tumble with them, let them get rained on, and not feel bad.

10k gun to me is no fun, so... investment

I want a nice bolt action .308 to shoot at my cabins range when I build it next year. So I’d probably get a surgeon or sako trg or something along those lines. Haven’t done too much research on it yet as it’s still a ways off.

Your rules suck.

1. JP LRP-07 .308. Set up how I want in the rifle builder it is at $4095.
2. Nightforce ATACR 4-16x42. $2500
3. Badger COMM $302
4. OCL Hydrogen K suppressor. $943 (with stamp).
5. Atlas bipod $320
That is $8160 and then I'd spend the rest on ammo.

Sako TRG A1 or an Accuracy International. A Perazzi or Krieghoff shotgun would be cool too.

10k is an odd price point.

Not enough $ for NFA or true bespoke guns and too much for the vast majority of high end yet mass produced guns.

Something historical is a good play.

I would probably try to find a second hand English rifle or shotgun or perhaps a new SxS Italian shotgun

I don't know how much they cost, but probably a suppressed AR that was used in the GWOT.
Edit: ^^ knows nothing of ars used in combat.

The one with skis. I’ve had a thing for them for the better part of a decade.
