Leaning towards the last one, honestly.

I would buy a collectable gun that will increase in value and pack it for long term storage. Sell in 20 years when I need the money for whatever old age medical bills.

Maybe something antique/historical. Haven't been in the market for that before so I'd need to do some research.

Long ago figured out cheap guns are way more fun - can go rough and tumble with them, let them get rained on, and not feel bad.

10k gun to me is no fun, so... investment

Not enough $ for NFA or true bespoke guns and too much for the vast majority of high end yet mass produced guns. Something historical is a good play. I would probably try to find a second hand English rifle or shotgun or perhaps a new SxS Italian shotgun
