Across the street is a vacant building that caught fire, was sold, and is now having the roof repaired from where the FF's cut the roof holes for whatever reason they do.

So the crew leader comes over and wants to know if he flips me a ten spot, will I let him tap into my power. Sure, says I.

So they cut the extension cord and run it through PVC to protect from traffic, and now have their saws running off my power with over 200 feet of 14 gauge extension cords!

You should hear these saws trying to suck juice, lol. I hope they ain't planning on using them again!

Oh, man, I gotta grab pics of this shit!

Unsportsmanlike over usage of internet acronyms, turnover, five yard penalty, first down.

If you've ever worked construction, you'd be laughing, too.

Trying to cut 1/2" OSB, and the saws sound like they're ripping 2" thick Oak.

What can I say? I'm bored!

Best laugh I've had all day.

All l33tn3$$ aside, you should inform the roofers you wanted $10 an hour.

Maybe its just me, but you did it for only $10? Don't you think they are going to use $100 worth of juice in a few days?

It's just for today, and only a few hours. They have 6 patches to make.

I'd of done it for free, as they'll use.. what? 50 cents worth? But hey, they offered!

I'd have done it for free.

For ventilation. Hot gasses want to rise, we just show them the way out.

Lay odds that they're using freshly sharpened sawblades, too.

What they should do is purchase power inverters... run off the 12vdc in their vehicles, turns it into 110vac. They are inexpensive, just another tool for the job.
