Someone posted once about attaching the back side of the pocket to the waistband,

I believe it was to give the pocket(and thereby the gun) additional support.

Any other ideas out there?

Improved material?

Maybe something stiffer on the leg side to help break the outline would help.

Or perhaps you could sew the pocket to fit the outline of the holster better.
