Bought 10ac with one edge bordering on BLM land tonight. I'm assuming shooting on the BLM land is probably OK, but asking ahead of time. thanks -hanko

You are correct. Shooting on BLM is perfectly legal. I have 5 acres in Owyhee County and right behind it is BLM. I called the Sheriff and told him I would be shooting out there. He kindly replied with "I'll probably see ya out there, got some of my own stuff to play with".

Welcome, and don't bring any of the Kali ways with you, please. I don't think you will, but I just had to say it[:D], because we have had a few move in around here that think it's nuts that we can wear a sidearm in the open, and they think that other freedoms we enjoy are nuts as well. When you ask them why the left Kail. they say because of the crime, taxes, etc....... And they think they can change Idaho for the better.[rolleyes]
