Inniskillin
also I had a bottle of Jackson-Triggs this past weekend that was quite good.

Careful though, it is EXPENSIVE and best served cold.

Innskillin, Vidal brought at the New Hampshire Liq Auth @ about $65 for 375 ml... expensive but worth it! This is the best of the best from North America. Austria has some nice little bottles as well.

Thanks, now I know what to look for.

Served cold. Will it be on the shelf or in the cooler at point of sale?

+1

I like their ice wine and I've visited one of their vinyards (I'm Canadian and checked it out back when I lived there).

I've never had it, but I've talked to people bringing it back from Canada. They say its very tasty and gets you fucked up fast

So Innslillin is Canadian?

If its so damn expensive here, can I save sizeable cash buying it up there?

Just so happens I will go North of the border before seeing her.

I just swung by www.wine.com . I notice they have 4 versions of it, I saw the Vidal.

Safe to assume more money equals better product??

the Vidal icewine is the varietal that I've tried. I haven't tried the sparkling or the riesling types yet.

Newport Vineyards, New Port, RI. Vidal Ice Wine, about $32.00 each. Very nice wine.

Even the cheaper Inniskillin is good so it doesn't matter too much IMO. Forget that sparkling stuff though.
