I've got a second room or small "structure" in my back yard. It's more like an old, shitty 1 room house. It's off on its own, in the back corner of my yard. I'd say it measures something like 15'x20' give or take. My question is....should I fix it up a little and make it a run room? I think it'd be pretty cool to put some couches in there, a work bench, and store some guns in it. But I don't entirely feel comfortable about leaving the guns outside of my own home. Even if I put a big safe in it, I wouldn't be able to hear anyone trying to hack into it at night unless they were REALLY loud. What kind of a security system should I put on it? Is there some sort of an alarm that I can get where I don't have to subscribe to an alarm company? Any input would be appreciated....
