Everytime we're talking about different firearms in a discussion, someone HAS to mention a phased plasma rifle (IIRC) "in the 40 watt range." Is this from a movie or something? It's just so annoying because even the lightbulbs in my house operate at at least 60 watts...
Anyone know the context of where is started? Yes I realize that it is a stupid thing to bring up and that it's all just for humor.
The Terminator: Twelve-gauge autoloader. The .45 longslide with laser sighting.
Alamo Guns Clerk: Anything else?
The Terminator: Phased plasma rifle in the 40-Watt range.
Alamo Guns Clerk: Hey, just what you see, pal.
The Terminator: The Uzi 9 millimeter.
Alamo Guns Clerk: You know your weapons, buddy. Any one of these is ideal for home defense. So, uh... which'll it be?
The Terminator: All.
Alamo Guns Clerk: I may close early today. There's a 15-day wait on the handguns, but the rifles you can take right now... You can't do that.
The Terminator: Wrong.
Also, remember the Uzi 9 mm and the .45 long slide with laser sighting.
Damn....I've seen that movie (years ago) and it still didn't click. Thanks guys.
