Soooo, are you saying we should borrow one from our friends to "try it out" before buying? Or renting one from the local "range"?  If only they were as easy to trade in at the local pawn shop or to sell on EE, then you might just be on to something.

I hate to bash' em but they are all crazy! You have to find one that is the least craziest.My freinds used to laugh when I said that. Now that most are divorced and have been fucked over they nod and agree when I say it now.

Same here. We started dating at 15. Been together 21 years now. She's isn't a drama queen or bipolar. She was never abused by a bunch of assholes, so she doesn't have a bunch of hangups. Our sex life is great, which is about half of why we don't have problems, and she hasn't turned into a fat ass. The older I get, the more I think I won lifes lottery. We may not be rich, but we are happy. Which would you rather have? |

I really think it's a big symtom of women's changing roles in modern times. We are all acclimating to women's roles and equality and blah blah blah.
I've also read that something like 70-80 percent (depending on which study you read) of long term relationship breakups/divorces are intiated by the woman. It all comes back to how society views these things and how it's changed over the last decades. Interesting that general thinking says men are dogs and sleep with everything... yet when I ask women friends how many dude's they've slept with it's on average TRIPLE the number of the men. I mean I know a couple guys who are just off the charts of course, but on average it was scarey as shit and I wish I hadnt asked the question now These aren't like total whores either. A couple women I asked that are like the nice girl next door types COULDN'T COUNT!  It'll all get better I think as the middle ground is found and everyone adapts to the "new world". |

Dude, it's not whether you're happy with "your" girl, it's whether "she" is happy with you. Our egos blinds us to their perceived flaws of us. Thus, when they're unhappy, we are happily in blissful ignorance of it.

My GF and I have been completely happy and drama free for the past 3 years. It's been awesome but she knows that she is on lease with a weekly renewal. She can be replaced with a younger model.
