I posted an update photo a while back.. but even more prominant now!
I saw a friend of my dads and the end of a hike, and they took my photo. I got it in my email today.. and WOW. Just thought I'd share my happieness as well as show people it can be done! I look sickly skinny compared to where I used to be. I still see myself as fat in the mirror tho :(, some day...

girl in photo is ex.

If yall are wondering.. 20-30miles of hiking a week, rock climbing gym 2x a week, and I started eating slower so my full button would go off before i got my second helping.. still eat what I want.

well in left photo im 300, in right photo im 240-245, but I know ive put on a whole lot more muscle.

In straight numbers 55-60lbs, but im sure ive lost more weight in fat than that, but gained muscle weight.

Congrats dude...I went through about the exact same thing over the past 8 months....went from about 260 down to about 210.....no fad diets....no gym memberships....just not eating like an asshole, and I run every other night.

Thanks for posting...motivation is all it takes!

Yep, the right way to diet is not all these fad plans that screw with your bodies' chemistry.

I've lost 30# since January. (Was under 200 for the first time this morning!!!)

Only change? I watch what I eat. I eat Subway for lunch. 6" lowfat sandwich. 10 grams of fat as opposed to 100g in the chinese buffet I frequented twice/week.

For dinner I try to stay under 25g of fat. And I watch my portions.

But I still eat the same food as before. Just a little less of it.

Anyone can do this. Just takes willpower.
