Although I have been to Arlington numerous times in the past, I had never been to the wreath laying ceremony before. I could not believe the amount of folks there. Actually it was pretty amazing.
I cannot begin to describe the awe, the honor and the sadness I felt and witnessed. I had the honor of escorting the wives and the children of the heros that died on Extortion 17  . It was a day full of camaraderie, laughter and profound sadness. I feel blessed to have particpated in an event for thse women who have given and lost so much.
please join me in praying for these very strong women and their children.

Nice, did the same thing today with the jeep club. We rode up to Bushnell, Fl...
Laid 8500 wreaths I think it was. No where near enough for the amount of people there and not enough for all the sites. They announced that Arlington got 135,000 laid this morning. |

We spent the day at Bushnell National Cemetery laying wreaths, always a very humbling experience.

I ended up having to work yesterday, otherwise I would have been there.
Next year, 150th anniversary of ANC, Wreaths Across America has the goal of putting a wreath on every single headstone at ANC. |
