My mother wants me to buy another car because mine doesnt look good (I have taken the Campybob approach to cars).

She thinks I should get this black Impala SS, same year, same model/color as mine. This makes no sense to me, I already said I will not get it becuase it will look like my current one in a month due to some illegal, no license, no insurance driver hitting it.

And Why would I get the same model car I already got one.

IF you get another car, you will not be able to call in to work to get a day off when Car #1 breaks down or is stolen

95 Impala SS? If it's the SS, keep that and look at a new Magnum R/T or 300C or Charger R/T or the upcoming 300C SRT-8.

I cant afford that I work for a living if I was on welfare Id buy one to replace my 3rd Cadillac since its about a year old.

I wish I could find one of those year Impalas in good shape without a shitload of miles. Mrs gorilla would be driving that in a heartbeat.

Oh man.. thats awesome.

I rented a White Crown vic to get back from the airport back in August... I was ridin in the fast lane.. most cars would move over... (state of NJ's trooper's vics are white).

It was great.

Why not just keep the one you have now? They aren't great cars to begin with(mechanically) so I wouldn't see a reason to get another one.

Because mines not looking nice and I dont care to fix it after fixing it and watching it get messed up 4 times

The new Impala SS is FWD.

I would recommend at least looking at the Magnum R/T, 300C, Charger R/T, or the 300C SRT-8.
Next would be a Subaru Imprezza WRX - it's a turbocharged H4 with AWD.

these are all higher performance options. If you want a grocery getter/daily commuter car, look at something that gets better gas mileage than the Ford Clown Bricks. A Honda Accord or Toyota Camry would hold its resale value MUCH better than a Clown Brick, and they get better gas mileage. The Nissan Maxima is also a much better buy: 265 hp V6, will easily outrun Police Interceptors on the 1/4 mile, and have HIDs to boot.
