I want one, as well.  As far as I hear, they're just like any other AR platform, except that mags are comparatively expensive, parts are harder to come by, ammo is less common (but not as scarce or as expensive as other, more in-demand calibers).  There's also the folks who think that 5.7 is a piss-weak round that shouldn't be trusted for any serious work, and the people who think that 5.7 works just fine.  If it's a fun rifle only, that argument probably shouldn't matter so much to you.

It seems like a neat idea to get a lower recoil varmint round with a higher capacity magazine.

That said, I still want one

I've been thinking of getting an upper. I've been buying ammo in case I ever bought a PS90, but I have a few built up lowers in the safe with no uppers yet. PS90 mags are down to about $35, so I may spring for an upper.

Seems gimmicky to me. If you have the money, have fun, but I wouldn't get one.

It doesn't do anything better than 5.56 so I wouldn't bother.

If you have a registered DIAS or M-16 lower they are awesome to shoot.
