Well, my dags aren't drunk.

I'm drunk.

Here's Trixie.  She's a Pyreneese/Anatollan mix. (Yes, I know mommy and daddy)

The one you see in the background is a stray we took in.  I don't know if you've ever
petted steel wool, but that's what her fur is like.  She'll lose most of it by next summer.

The tail in the foreground is my buddy.

Yes, the kitchen needs re tiling.  When we got it, there was CARPET
in the kitchen.

We got the LL's permission to rip it out.  We're going to replace it at our
own cost.

It's what's under carpet tiles when you rip them out.

The intent is to DIY.

Everything we have in the kitchen is on wheels or can be moved right now.

I'm waiting on the crazy ass redhead to decide on tile.
My wife.

Did that at a house in Seattle.  Tore up a hideous shag carpet that was three shades of burnt orange, and discovered a gorgeous hardwood floor underneath.

Your floor as it is now is better than that carpet we had.

Tore out a stairway leading upstairs.  Found a second set of stairs beneat the first, but with a gap between the two sets.  Mostly full of sawdust, but when we shined a flashlight down from the top we could see the bottom of a pair of shoes sticking out of the sawdust.  Fortunately there was no one in them.

Both beautiful dogs. I don't care about your floor. Giving a loving home to those two dogs puts you in the "good guy" column as far as I'm concerned.

My Buddy is named "Vato"  He's my buddy.  He's the only one we
took in on purpose.  "Trixie" is a fucking huge dog.  It was our house,
or the pound. "Cubby".....She's a cubacabra.  She's got half fur, half
not fur.  We're not abusing her.  I would have had her put to sleep already, but
my wife forbids it.

Shit those ain't crack house floors. They are a theft deterrent. Someone breaks in see the floor and says well shit this guy ain't got anything worth stealing and they leave.

My mom has the same floors in her kitchen. It's the only room in the house that hasn't been redone. Some asshole put linoleum floors on top of wood then when those got messed up the put plywood down then more linoleum and then they did it again so her floor is almost 2" higher than the rest of the house. One day it will get fixed is what she says and she has had the place since '86. Haha.

Nice lookin wife btw. (I was 6 when it was taken. Haha. Damn I'm young.)

You can't fake "Texas Girl"

I already know.  She asked ME to dance.

The club where we met is totally different, and, lots of the old haunts are
torn down, but when a girl looks up at you like she looked up at me when
we danced.......Wow.  I mean.....17 years later.
