That's govt efficiency for you!
Recently a USPS semi caught fire (brake lockup) and the contents of said trailer was either burned or extinguished by over zealous firemen.  A letter from the postmaster informed everyone in the region of this mishap.   I had mail order meds on that truck... my pharmacist had to call the ins. company to get replacements expedited.

Do not put any faith in their tracking system. It sucks!

Probably wedged in the buttcrack of the angry lesbian in charge of sitting on all the priority mail packages.

Still waiting for a package from Rainier Arms, mailed 7/15, USPS has no idea where it is. Which means a postal employee stole it, and I'm out $180

Time to dig out my 'disgruntled postal employee' t-shirt and head on down to the PO...

I ordered an AR15 BCG from Rainier last year that shipped USPS Priority and went missing...after 2 weeks it finally showed up. They had delivered it to some guy's PO box by mistake. Luckily he was honest about it.
