So I think I'm going to give up on dating.... just seems fucking pointless and just about every female I've come across has major "DO NOT WANT" issues. Either a: They're mentally retarded or b: They've got the crazy bad c: they're so obsessed with popular culture it's scary. or D: They're extremely liberal.
Now I'm no Einstein, but I do enjoy intelligent conversation. When I have to sit there and explain common words that I and other people I know use every day... There is a problem. I've been on at least a dozen dates since girlfriend 1. Only one got past that. Even that's over now because of problem b and her insane family. Think I'm just going to pass on females for a while. Focus on school and getting my car paid off.

I arrived at the same conclusion five years ago and I have never been more happy.
Every now and then I run across a female that makes me reconsider, but I just remember all of the pain and I let it go. The problem is that if you ignore a female who knows you are considering her (and that she has gotten under your skin) but don't ever make a move, it makes her want you more or she thinks you are gay. Whatever. I do not want drama. I would rather be peaceful than invite drama into my life. I also don't want an STD and there are STDs that can penetrate the molecular structure of latex, so even condoms are no guarantee. All of my friends who are married or in relationships are jealous that I have figured out how to live without a woman. I never thought I would be able to give up women, but I have and I am glad. |

Summer is the best time to meet women my friend, you can give up when the fall clothes come back on, haha.
In nature, animals fight for survival and the right to mate. While I am all about egalitarian ideals, when it comes to "dating" it's still the law of the jungle. You gotta prove your worth. Doesn't matter if you are handsome like Brad Pitt or rich like Hugh Hefner, you still gotta put yourself out there and have the right moves. |

I was in a similar mindset and a friend talked me into joining eHarmony. I was sick of dating and had decided it was cheaper and less stressfull to just save up for an M16 and do whatever the hell I wanted (as a single young professional).
After 4 months of turning down every girl on there for whatever nit picky reason I found, I finally found a girl I couldn't find a single reason to say "no" to. We are currently "dating", and she shoots a 12 gauge better than I do.  In my defense, she's a damn surgeon with her benelli.
