Like, just now. I live in a messed up little country town, pop.300 maybe.
Anyway it sounded like a firecracker a couple houses over or a gunshot inside a neighbors house. wasnt very loud but I heard it distinctly. Ill listen for sirens

Yep, one shot means vermin in the yard but trying to keep out of trouble. Bang! Bang bang....Bang. Means trouble in the hood. Oh, and bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang...bang is someone unloading an auto on the 4th but not really sure how many rounds it holds... |

Or racoons. I had some on my deck a couple nights ago eating the food the cats left. I wanted to take a shot, but couldn't find a safe shot so I put the weapon away. |

Actually its armadillos around here but there is the occasional possum, Its funny to watch em play dead after the pit shakes it around like a chew toy.

I heard some shots earlier as well. It was my neighbors. I made some noise in the backyard later that afternoon, so it's all good.
