I have fondled and oggled a lot of handguns in my day, but the Sig 226 Blackwater is the finest handgun I have seen. Perfect fit and balance. Just need to find $960

They look nice, but if I were raising that much $$$, I'd put a little more with it and get the X-5 Tactical. Other than a custom 1911, I think it's my idea of the perfect pistol.

That's not the X5 slide, the X5 slides are either 5" or 6" depending on model. It's a P226 slide with extra slide serrations. This is what I WANT!!!!  Or a P220R DOUBLESTACK. Cheers, MM |

I guess Sig felt that HK and Glock were gaining more market share on "tactical" handguns with rails and stuff. These new models just kick ass. My 229 is looking lonely and I need to find it a companion.
