GI mags going for $25 - $30 at the gun shows here. 30 rds of 855 going for $25 - $30.

You gave someone a good deal.

Hell no, that's a damn fair price even when the country isn't losing it's fucking mind.

More like $10-$15 .
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 5:26:55 PM EDT
That should have been $50 easy. A year ago I wouldn't have paid $20 for that but prices are insane right now.
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 5:27:01 PM EDT

I spent 40$ on a pre ban 30 rd mag empty... fucking commiechusetts
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 5:28:18 PM EDT
I feel stupid. I let 15 go today at the gun show for $20 each. 3 bundles of 5. Cheapest vendor had them at $25 ea. I guess I'm a softie. It took an hour and a half. The ones paying attention jumped on it. The hundred dollar bill flew out of their wallet.

Looking at a Rossi Win 92 in in .38 now that I have a nice down on one.

AHH.... no.

More like $10-$15 .

For the mag alone. They're topped off with green tips. Those aren't always readily available. 40 cents a round isn't bad at all
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 5:34:05 PM EDT
nope. somebody was willing to buy them, and were probably happy to score them.
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 5:34:23 PM EDT
Hell, I took a 200 rd sealed pack of M193 to a show 2 weeks ago. Didn't even make it to the back of the line to get in before a guy offered me $150. Dude right behind him offered $175. I took the $175, turned around and took my buddies out to breakfast.. I paid $64 for that stuff just last May. And my friends were giving me shit, saying I could have got $200 or more. And they're probably right.

I saw 3 at a local pawn shop for $79.99 each
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 5:58:50 PM EDT
Anything brass-cased M855 is selling at .70-.80 per round.

I sold empty GI aluminum mags for $30/piece. I think you coulda made another $14 off that deal.
Link Posted: 2/16/2013 6:03:31 PM EDT
Mags already filled with ammo?
Better hope you don't see this guy you sold the stuff to on the news anytime soon.

You may have doubled what you paid, but you did not double what it is worth at today's prices.

$15 worth of ammo and $15 mag, in this market you almost lost money IMHO.

Actually what you did was not that bad of a deal.
