I think we can get at least TWO more Senate seats this go-around.
And the recent redistricting in Texas by the GOP-controlled Texas Legislature insures Texas will have at least 5 more Republican Congresscritters! I would imagine that the rest of the nation might add another 10 net gains in the House for a total of 15 new Republicans! Damn shame that redistricting is the only way it's happened. Same here in my county. Can't win, stack the deck.  nor does it suprise me that after all this time, Eric the Hun was the first person (republican) I've ever seen/heard to acknowlege that factoid. thanks Eric the hun Chris |

I think you may have misunderstood just what occurred here in Texas! Texas has voted Republican in the last 6 General Elections, by percentages that approached 60% Yet, due solely to DEMOCRAT gerrymandering in the Texas Legislature, the DEMO House Districts were equal in number to the Republican House Districts, 16 to 16. That was due simply to DEMOCRAT gerrymandering. When the Republican won control of both House and Senate they redistricted Texas to make it more like the general voting population of Texas. So, after this election we should have 21 or 22 Republicans to 10 or 11 Democrats. The Redistricting Plan was approved by both the US Department of Justice and the Federal Courts. Wake up!
