I recently moved to Utah from Nevada.

After registering to vote it occured to me that my vote in Nevada
would have counted more than here in Utah.

Nevada is a swing state in this election and there is no way Utah will vote for Kerry.

Will your registration even count for this election as it is less than 30 days from the election?

Postmark Deadline: Voter registration forms must be postmarked at least 20 days before an election in order to vote in that election; or

In-person Deadline: You may register in person at the County Clerk's Office until the 8th day before the election.

Why? Are you trying to get me drunk enough to vote for Kerry?

hell yeah voting is what makes the system work. Now it may have been more important to vote in NV but we'll take you anyway.

I thought the same thing. I registered in SD, used to vote in WI which is a big time swing state now. HOWEVER, now I get to vote against Tom Daschle, so that's almost as good

You may vote absentee in NV if you are registered there, even if you are also registered at the 'new place'.

Just DON'T VOTE TWICE, that's a federal crime...
