My aunt is a die-hard Progressive. Unitarian, twice divorced, attorney and teacher of future attorneys...

Today, I asked her, plain and simple, "Did you vote for socialism, do you really want socialism?"

Her immediate answer was, "What are you talking about?", followed by some bullshit about me not being "Enlightened".

I told her to answer me in either a YES or a NO, nothing else. She refused to go anywhere near either simple answer, and went back to me being not "Enlightened".

Long story short, it ended with me telling her that "Enlightened" must be some sort of code-word for "Unmanaged Mental Illness".

LOL...She will never talk to me again...My sister, JOKINGLY called her "insane" once, and my aunt threw a huge fit...My aunt knew I was serious about the "Unmanaged Mental Illness" quip.

Who's paying?

Who's in power?

What's the PC answer?

What is the definition of, "is"?

What time/day/month or year it is?

Etc...........

But, all that being said...........have some mercy on your aunt.

It's bad enough that Lawyers hardly have any non-lawyer friends to speak with. Not to mention, family members who sort of have to speak with them but, think they are "

There is a couple of people that I hold dear to my heart, but do to their stupidity I will never again be around them.
