My Seiko divers watch was stolen from my desk at work.  Sucks to be me.

The watch was about 200 dollars retail when I bought it.

I was thinking of going to EBAY to replace it.

What worries me is that I have heard that EBAY watches are sometimes rip off knock offs and there is no real way to tell.

I know they do that with cameras.  What would you do....go to EBAY or just do retail?

Trying to save myself a few bucks.

thanks.

Very rugged.

I picked up one of these a couple months back. Nice looking watch, built like a tank.

Well, since they state it on the website why don't you contact Seiko and ask them? I'm sure they would be happy to confirm one of their authorized dealers.

Personally, I'd be more concerned about finding out who stole my watch and kicking their ass than looking for a replacement.

I used to collect watches.  They make some very knock offs these days.  You could front with a bogus 'Roleks' and nobody but you would know.  Just don't take it diving.  [8D]
