Last year I had a great time at Gunstock,and this year I intend to have an even better one.........but I need to get ready for meeting old friends,making new ones and facing some of the trolls!
 So..................which of you are attending, and what should we expect to find when we meet you in a week?  |

Mr. Avila, when I decided that supporting my wife's involvement in the church-wide dinner program was more important than Gunstock, I knew it would hit you hard. I just didn't know how hard. All I can say is "Suck it up, and enjoy the event." I'll try to make it next year.

Dude,put all your dolls in a car and get over there with somebody else that can drive.We'll write a script for a new production and film on location. A daily episode that will summarize the events of the day!
Come on Hiram,you know that will not make it any easier.I would love to see you there, but I understand why you cannot go.You work hard so we can re-elect Bush for 4 more! |

Dont suppose we can try for some sort of Recondo School type Gunstock next year? Have a real combat patrol looking for Narcos? Plenty of camping space! This is 2 years in a row that Im downrange during gunstock

Pardon me, but when I go to Las Vegas, the last damn place I want to be is with a bunch of paunchy gun nuts out in the desert. Sounds like a very bad made-for-television movie. so help me................................i live 5 hours driving time away from tiger valley. BUT, if i lived half the country away, my poor ass would find the money and fly to this bastard. (i drove 10 hours to make it to hun farm the last time
)anyway, last year was great. i was pretty much a newbie, had no idea who the people were i was meeting except when one of them mentioned a screen name that i could relate to............................i drank more beer, talked to more people, and had more fun than i had had in a DAMNED long time............................. these people, whom i had never met sans a computer screen, were instantly upon meeting, damn near family. as soon as i walked in the gate i was met by TomJefferson..........................he asked who i was, i told him and he told me who he was and said, "you're one of the ones i was anxious to meet" or something right along those lines, so naturally i asked, "oh shit, is that good or bad?"  i also brought two friends of mine with me who were not even members of the site that were welcomed like family as well................... anyway, besides looking back and forward at the same time with this, where im actually going is if you can in any way come, you won't regret it, get after it. tex should be there once again, same truck, same BBQ pit, same ice chest full of beer...................only change this year is that i will actively seek out ed sr. and MAKE that scrawny noodle armed choir girl drink beer with me!!!  that is all |

If attendance does not pick up this year, this might very well the last Gunstock.....at least in this scale.
We must make the large expenses no matter how many are coming. This includes the range and tents for vendors/dinner,so please,if you can go.................. do it, so we can continue to run a successful event for many years. |

Move the event to someplace like VEGAS! Give people something else to do alongside the Gunstock range events. I guarantee you attendance will be higher!
