I told a guy at work that Beretta was the oldest still-running company in the world.  I hope I was correct!

They were founded in 1526, and has been family owned since then, that much I found on Beretta's website.  Now I'm lost.

Can anyone help me out?

I did a quick search, and I think that you might not be right, but your buddy will have a hard time proving you wrong.

Darn. Sucks to lose the argument, but you could claim that it is not a valid source. At least you were in the top 20 though.
