Does the mags from a S&W 5906 fit the 6906?

Yes, although they hang out the bottom a bit.

Thanks as I was reading your reply S&W customer service picked up and I asked him, he confirmed your post ,he said the 5906 works in the 6906 but the 6906 will not work in the 5906 (it's shorter)
