I have a cowork with a plain black rem Sendroin 300 win mag . It shoots dime groups a 100 yards with match ammo. He is keeping the scope I want to put a mill dot on it and set it up for some long range target work 800 - 1000 yards . What a fair price to pay him for just the rifle and bases? I have shot the rifle my self and recoil is about like mild because of weight and good pad.

Assuming that it is in excellent condition, and has not been shot much, I'd estimate $550 - $650.

YMMV depending on local market values.

+1 I would offer him $600, but would not go over $650.
