This just popped into my head while thinking about term limits and ways to make our Rep's vote with their hearts and not with an eye to re-election. Now, this may not solve a need for term limits BUT, it may get the vote out. Then the results of elections will reflect the will of the majority. What if, say, elections lasted for 3 or 5 days. With results posted each day at the end of polling? Then, when someone realizes their guy, who was to be a shoe-in, is getting trounced in an upset, they hustle their ass to the voting booth! It would be like watching the playoffs! Just an idea. BP

At least it would give the Floridians a chance to figure out the ballot. [:D]

It would simply be the drawn out version of what happens now. Many people watch the early results, resign themselves to the fact that their candidate is going to lose and therefore, never even bother going to the polls. Mike
