I picked up a CZ Shadow recently and finally had the chance to take it to the range this morning.  I took along a G34, an M&P Pro and an STI just to compare side-by-side.

Wow, this thing is a tack driver.  The ergos are great.  And it might have the best SA trigger I've ever felt.  I've never been a big fan of DA/SA pistols, but this one is definitely a keeper.  I do wish it had a standard size sight cut that offered more choices, but the factory sights are good.

I have a holster on order for a CZ75.

When it shows up, I'm selling a 1911 to fund a CZ75 with a few bells and whistles from the custom shop.

75B and Kadet (complete, not the kit), great guns.  The Kadet is a ridiculously solid rimfire pistol, I'll probably have great-great-great grandchildren living on Mars still plinking with it.

I keep thinking about a P01, but don't see them in stock that often.

I have a CZ85b that I love and a Tanfoglio witness that I love more.  The Tan is a copy of the CZ75b both guns use the same mags and holsters so its a win win for me!

CZ are some of the best pistols out there and they're cheap. Although, the great secret has kinda got out there and prices are going up.

I wanna get this....

My CZ85B is a great pistol.

I don't love the trigger.

No. That's not right. I hate the trigger.

For $170 plus shipping the custom shop will fit a new hammer with better geometry. They can also remove the FPB.

Hey, guys, how does the finish hold up on the 75? I'm wondering whether I want to go with a black or SS finish.

My Compact has wear after only a few times in a holster. I don't mind but the park style finish doesn't seem to be very durable.

So if you were buying one to carry, and carry often for many years to come, you'd go with SS over the black polymer finish?

Are there any reports of CZ's with High round counts?

I would like to see a 50,000 + round CZ if any one has some links.

Yes Sir, I would favor SS over the black finish for CCW.

Gotcha.

I know it's a different animal, but I just don't know how the trigger on my Shadow could be any better.
