Haven't been there for about 13 or 14 years.  Going to visit some old Marines (both are great uncles).  Both are severe gun nuts.  I cannot wait till I hit the road manana.  On the same note, I can't wait to get to Gunstock (even if it's just a few folks from the board)!!!!!

I grew up back east, where I never had the chance to experience REAL freedom.  I have a bunch of family in E. Texas that are fantastic, freedom loving folks- two of which were in the Korean (forgotten) War.  More stories to tell than a fistful of flies.  I can remember going there when I was a boy and visiting my great uncles closets (which hold an innumerable amount of vintage and modern firearms).  I finally have chance to get back down there, and I am full of gusto!  I remember when one of my great uncles handed me my 1st airgun -- a Crossman pistol.  I loved that thing more than anything at the time.  I must've put 1000 BB's down range upon the 1st week of returning "home".

I will have alot of fun, thank you Sir!!!

I've only had issues with chiggers being a big problem 1 time in my entire life in TX.  I just had 3-400 bites on my legs/ankles/feet.  Luckily they didn't make it too far up the body to attack my boys.  And it was still worth it, I was having a hoot shooting stuff while those chiggers ate me up.
