Never thought I'd like these types of games but I'm really enjoying it, what else have I been missing?

Not particularly. Revolutions is my favorite Civ game. It's a shame they moved it to the mobile market and killed the genre off.

Sadly, these games tend to take a decently beefy computer to play. And, although your computer can probably run most of the games of the genre, it taking 20-30 minutes for the AI to do its turn isn't unheard of on slower PC's.

Tom Clancy's End War on 360 was great. But they ended the multiplayer servers. Still a great fun campaign and single player game.

Bought RUSE and Great battles: Medieval and realized that there's a difference between a TBS and an RTS.
