Seriously. 8:00 sneak preview... full movie.

You all need to see it. michael moore holds hot dogs. Kim Jong-Il is the evil mastermind, and has his own song, "I'm So Ronery." The theme song is "America! Fuck yeah!" Hans Blix gets fed to sharks. Jeneane Garafolo has her head blown off. All Matt Damon ever says in it is "Matt Damon!"

It all sort of blended into a heap of awesomeness to me, so unfortunately I can't write a review. However, if you want to know details, ask.

SEE IT!

Edit: Yes, there is a puppet-sex scene. And it (the scene and the entire movie) is hilarious beyond belief.

General release is next Friday. Tonight was a one shot sneak peek.

I WILL be there next week. The first movie I've gone to in YEARS. From everything I've heard about how much bullshit that goes on in theaters these days it will no doubt be an *interesting* evening. One that I'll probably vent about here.

Crude & Crass in several parts, this basically ruins an otherwise funny movie...

However, it spends a good amount of time ripping celebrities for their stands on foriegn policy...

The thing is, it goes from very funny to 'blep blep bleeeep bleep bleep' very quickly....

As funny as the funny parts werre (Kim Jong Il is basically Blofeld from 007, most of the characters are ripped from other movies/TV shows (One of the 'team' is essentially Deanna Troi from Star Trek, etc), and it rips Mike Moore, the UN, and the Hollywood establishment bigtime), I wouldn't see it again because of the over-the-top gratuitous profanity & one perticular scene that almost got the movie an 'X'...

Dave's post alone makes me want to go see it .

p.s. NC-17 is not an X rating, it was rated NC-17 until they cut a few bits out

Buh bye, Hans...

BWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

More here: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/team_america_world_police/

As a HUGE Gerry Anderson fan, looking at those pics and the trailer I've got to say they've NAILED the look of his work. Guess it's time to dig out the DVD's and have a full blown Fireball XL5, Supercar, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 marathon this week to get psyched up for next weekend. Have to break it up with BASEketball and South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut.

Thank God for guys like Matt and Trey that don't give a flying rat fuck about what Hollyweird thinks.

Maybe someone should introduce Matt & Trey to sgtar15 Edited to add: it will be even funnier if it grosses more than MMoores bag of shit.

Several reviewers have poo-pooed it, probably for it's trashing Liberal Hollywood celebs.

I'm a fan of everything those guys do, even Baseketball and Orgazmo had some pretty creative moments.

seriously.

i remember sitting in the bigger longer uncut and literally half the people walked out in the first 20 minutes because there was so much cussing..

the other half got a good message about how stupid it is to get your panties in a bind over a few fucking words and toilet humor....bitches..

i have a feeling this will be the smartest comedy not accepted by the hollywood masses.for that reason i will see it.

if its damn good.. i will see it twice.

How much you wanna bet some ill informed parent out there is going to think this is a kids' film, and take their kid to see it?

That's weird. In the short bit of Bowling for Columbine, I saw the guy from South Park talking to MM. I got the feeling he liked him (?)

You'd have to be living under a rock if the words "From the creators of South Park" didn't ring some sort of bell about what you're going to be seeing. That and the "R" rating.

Yeah, I know, there WILL be kids in the theater that dumbshit parents bring and there will be gasps of outrage and howls of protests thrown at the theater managment for "allowing kids to see such fillth!". And the manager will point out what an "R" rating means and the parents will shout "but you should have TOLD us when we bought the tickets!"

Yes, I am TOTALLY disalusioned about the human race and with good reason.

SEAN PENN RIPS 'TEAM AMERICA' CREATORS IN ANGRY MEMO

**Exclusive**

October 6, 2004

To Trey Parker and Matt Stone,

I remember a cordial hello when you guys were beginning to be famous guys around Hollywood at some party. I remember several times getting a few giggles out of your humor. I remember not being bothered as you traded on my name among others to appear witty, above it all, and likeable to your crowd. I never mind being of service, in satire and silliness.

I do mind when anybody who doesn't have a child, doesn't have a child at war, or isn't or won't be in harm's way themselves, is encouraging that there's "no shame in not voting" "if you don't know what you're talking about" (Mr. Stone) without mentioning the shame of not knowing what your talking about, and encouraging people to know. You guys are talented young guys but alas, primarily young guys. It's all well to joke about me or whomever you choose. Not so well, to encourage irresponsibility that will ultimately lead to the disembowelment, mutilation, exploitation, and death of innocent people throughout the world. The vote matters to them. No one's ignorance, indcluding a couple of hip cross-dressers, is an excuse.

All best, and a sincere fuck you,

Sean Penn

P.S. Take this as a personal invitation from me to you (you can ask Dennis Miller along for the ride as well) to escort you on a trip, which I took last Christmas. We'll fly to Amman, Jordan and I'll ride with you in a (?) 12 hours through the Sunni Triangle into Fallujah and Baghdad and I'll show you around. When we return, make all the fun you want.

I don't have cable, and have never seen South Park

I also have no problem with realistically used profanity & similar...

However, when it's obvious that profanity has been crammed in just to see if you can set a record for how many times you can say 'Fuck' in a movie, it detracts from the rest of the movie...

And since we've posted what happens to Hans Blix, let's just say Moore finally looses it... Explosively...

I'm gonna go to the mulitplex where all the little yuppie larvae congregate with one of my best offend the Sucker Moms shirts on and see how many evil looks I can get whilst laffing my ass off.

The last time I had that much fun in a theatre was during Pulp Fiction when Vincent blows Marvin's head off ..."Dude, I just shot Marvin in the face"... Ghastly looks and stunned, shocked silence on almost every face save the one crazy fucker just belly laughing his ass off. Funniest scene I've ever seen, and it just got better and better.

This looks to be an awesome night of entertainment on many fronts.

Every political viewpoint needs some 'loose cannons" to keep things honest.

As someone here mentioned, Sean Penn will be these guy's bitch after his whining. I pity the fool.
