Ok, its a trite/cliche headline.  But its also true.  My car insurance representative woke me up with the news that she could save me about $300/6mo by switching to another company, which is not Geico incase anyone was actually going to ask.  If I bump one of my cars to full coverage from liability/comprehensive its only $90/6mo more!  I am insuring a 1983 Benz 380 SEL and a 1978 International Harvester Scout II.  Total amount for a 22yr old driver (clean record) on his own policy:  $430/6mo without full coverage.  Nothing impressive for some of you, but a damn sight better than $738/6mo.

It costs more to insure a 2000 Neon with a $1000 deductable than a 2005 Mustang with a $500 deductable?  How'd they arrive at that one?

The office (and for about 15yrs) this agent has served 3 generations of my family well.  We are in a rental the same day as our accident, we get reports, etc.  I had to do everything when my dad was insured through The Hartford, and it was the other persons fault.  Needless to say he is now with this office.  I am happy to reward her for her dilligent work.
