I don't get how these companies can send multiple advertising emails every freakin' day...and not figure they're gonna piss people off.

After the 3rd Midway email today...I've had enough. Unsubscribe me.

Midway is one of the worst offenders.

Eastwood and eBay are pretty bad too.

Not the same, most of us buy stuff twice a day from PSA.

I had to unsubscribe from PSA's 4 daily emails...it was costing me too much money.

Use rules in outlook to send vendor advertising to it's own folder so when you are shopping you can have access to their emails without being bothered constantly.

... I hear you, every fucking for-profit company does this - NEVER give up your email address, unless you're OK with their spam

I don't even open them after price checking their "discounts" and find out it's still more expensive than other online vendors.

Jacking the original price up 30% and then offering 15% off is some real Cabelas shit.

Brownells is heading down that path. Starting a few months ago I get 2 or 3 a day.

PSA's are at least interesting.

Midway is like "woo wooo wew we go magpul CTR for 59.99, come and get em!!!!!"

I had to do that a month ago. Not just Midway, but everything. I was getting 15 emails a day about ammo sales. FFS, once a week is alright. Three times a day is not.

I did that months ago.

I dropped them about a 1/2 a year ago, freakin drove me nuts.  PSA is almost as bad.  A weekly email like Aim is quite sufficient.

Just 15?   Lol

Try on 30-35 daily for gun, accessories and ammo.

Ebay is probably the worst for me right now. I get the midway ones too but ebay goes above and beyond.

I purged a ton of venders from my email. Now I rarely get anything that I don't want. Makes email a much more pleasant tool.

I used to like SGAmmo but since they won't sell to me anymore because of SAFE, it's gotten kind of annoying. Probably should cancel them sometime.

Why don't you just delete them?  I got a ton of offer emails from various places I've bought from before.  It's just a swipe and delete on the ole phone or click and delete on the computer.  Sometimes they are interesting so I don't mind them.

That's my read on it. A couple outfits send me emails every day and I get a kick out of seeing them, but 2 or 3 or 4 a day is just fucked up.

Guess they've never heard the old saying, 'don't push your luck'.

Midway, PSA, Natchez, they all do it.  I hate the emails companies send just because they tracked you looking at an item on their site.  I looked at a surefire light on Primary Arms site the other day and they have sent me like 4 emails since then just about that light.

I've tried to get all my sports related emails steered toward an old Hotmail acct.  The problem is, I don't always check it daily, and sometimes I miss out on legit. deals.  A dedicated email acct. is the way to go though.

This is why I have two different email accounts.
One for family and business, the other to get spammed with sales.

I just unsubscribe immediately when I get the first marketing email. I've bought a lot of crap and in total I get maybe 8 emails a day.

I love Primary Arms, but the "Looks like you forgot this" emails after I put something in the cart to be able to see the price gets pretty old.

Agreed. I dumped midway about a year ago and wrote them an email explaining that I will no longer shop there because of their annoying emails... not to mention jacked prices.

Right now my worst offender is Amazon. I'm getting 2-3 emails a day telling me to buy shit that my wife looked at while she's at work.

Just don't give your email to Dick's, J&R Cigars, or Bon Appetit' if you don't what spam.

I lead a dull life, so deleting emails might be considered a 'high point'.
