Do you think this is right. My state doesn't have any laws about that.
What does your state say? |
|
Who cares, do it anyway. It's obvious that the election/voting laws are meaningless now.

I found this chart that summarizes every state. Not sure if its current or not.

We should have a way to prove how we voted, to help combat fraud.

Well crap.
It appears NC is a no go. So if, hypothetically speaking, one were to have taken a picture of ones ballot during the 2016 NC primary, and possibly even posted it online, not knowing it was illegal, then what hypothetically would the punishment be? not finding it yet. But then again in the hypothetical situation since one was not intending to break the law, then no harm no foul. It worked for Hillary. But just in case, I did recently loose all my firearms in a tragic boating accident, and I think my dog will be staying with my Mother in Law for a while. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Thanks for the link, found this at the bottom. This column refers to the practice of photographing or filming one's own vote at the time of voting and afterwards displaying the image on a publicly accessible platform like the Internet. Streaming live video of your own marked ballot may create legal problems in additional states. "X" means that there is a law which may prohibit photographing or filming one's own marked ballot. "?" means the law is unclear. Keep in mind that states have these laws to prevent vote buying and coercion, so you should be cautious of publicly posting your ballot. The reason to photograph a ballot for me would be documentation of my ballot to help against voter fraud should it happen in my AO. Anybody who knows me would know how I would cast my ballot for POTUS. |

It will be easy to spot my ballot if I need a copy. It will the one that says FHRC and Bad Mother Fucker on it.

What is the point of photographing your own ballot.? Voted for Ted Cruz. |

Well how the fuck am I going to get my Madonna BJ without proof?

Don't care if its legal or not; if I want to take a ballot selfie I will. And I have in the past. If the state AG wants to prosecute me for it, I'll be happy to shove the First Amendment up their ass sideways. Protected political speech. |

I can do whatever I want record, photograph, etc. The laws here prevent any third party access or recording in any fashion of my ballot.

View Quote That chart says it's legal in Tennessee, but when I voted early last week they had big signs saying it is illegal to have your cell phone turned on inside the polling area. I wanted to take a picture of my ballot, but since I didn't bring a camera that is separate from my phone I didn't feel like I could take a picture without risking some trouble. |

Wouldn't give two flying fucks if some poll station worker decided to pipe up after I took pictures.

I'm not sure what difference photographing your ballot will make unless everyone does it.

You'd need a pic of everyone's ballot to prove they misreported. |
