Okay so Jews don't believe in heaven.

They don't believe in hell.

They don't even believe in an afterlife.

And they don't prosyletize or try to convert people to spread their message either.

And yet they believe they are God's "chosen people".

"Chosen" to do what!???

I just don't understand what the purpose of Judaism is if there is no afterlife and no "personal" God that wants you to be "saved" or bring others to know God.

I know I must be missing something obvious - but according the Jewish religion, what are the Jews "chosen" to do?

1) construct strawman
2) belittle it
3) challenge said strawman to explain itself

Quite a constructive way to start a discussion. Bravo.

I suggest

Everything I stated was completely accurate.

Most Jews don't believe in heaven, hell, afterlife, personal God or proselytizing but believe they're God's "chosen people".

Simply asking what Jews believe they're "chosen" to do or be.

But I guess the sum total of your response to this question is simply to clack out a vacuous fart of a reply.

Well, the list of religions you don't understand must be rather long.
