3 weeks ago I was at Wally World and saw this 1/9th scale R/C M1A2. At the time it was $199.99 and I thought "Cool..but not at that price.."

Fast forward to today, and I was there and saw that they had been to moved to the "Gotta sell this shit and make room" isle.

I asked the guy in toys what where they now and he said he didn't know, they had just marked them down the day before and he was off then. He asked if I wanted get on down from the shelf and I said not now, I have more shopping to do, but if you can find the price in 20 minutes or so, I'll be back..He said ok..

I go back and he has one down and I ask and he says.."$79.00"....but of course I'll take it now...

My M4 for scale...

It has a rotating turret, main gun and machine gun sounds and engine sounds. Independent suspension and a solid track with steel hinge pins.

The battery is nearly the size of a kids riding toy and it's powerful...

As soon as the weather gets better...I'm digging out my airbrush and it's getting a super detail job on it as well as a M2 and 249 machine guns for the TC and loader hatches...as well as some external stowage...

You need to rig that thing to fire bottle rockets or something. An extra servo, model rocket igniters...it wouldnt take much.

I have the same setup but with the stuart body on it,my Grandkids love it.

The rear roadwheels are the only ones connected to the drive and they are plastic with a press fit on to a metal shaft, after a few times running into things they will strip,I pulled them off and remounted them with 5 min epoxy and now they are solid.

Like others, I wanted one, but not at $200.  When they were down to $115, I also got "the look" from my darling wife...

Someone suggested bottle rockets...heck, how hard could it be to mount a 10/22 in that thing with a laser in place of the coax machinegun???

They are marked down at the South Carolina Walmarts as well. I have seen one store marked at $79.00, another at $75.00. The clearance price is a real bargain, but I have nowhere to store the darn thing! It really is a huge R/C vehicle.

It's pretty fast and weighs about 20-15 lbs...

I'm still charging the battery, so I have not really gotten around to giving it a good thrashing...

I like the way you think

Pull the stock and use the action...buy a servo, wire it up, and now you've got real firepower

I took a look on eBay. There are a ton of the airsoft shooting ones. They are $30-$50.

What kind of battery? Can you post a picture of it? Did it come with an 8-10 hour wall charger?

This one has a battery that is just slightly smaller than a kids riding toy..like those tucks and jeeps...the charger is HUGE and you have to charge it for 14 hours...

I get a pic later
