...Veal!

The meal:
Grilled boneless veal shoulder chop topped with onions and mushrooms sautéed in port wine and peanut oil.
Roasted red potatoes with garlic.
Steamed carrots, zucchini & green beans in a rosemary butter sauce.
Woodpecker Premium Cider, imported from Hereford, England.

The rifle:
Doublestar lower.
Del-Ton parts kit with A3 upper, chrome-lined 20" heavy barrel with 1:9 twist, Phantom flash hider, Ergo grip.

The pistol:
Springfield Armory USGI 1911A1.

The knife:
Ka-Bar purchased at the Kirkuk Regional AB / FOB Warrior BX/PX in December 2008.

Fuck the measuring device and stapler. This is a dinner picture, not a breakfast picture!

Awesome!

I was on a cruise with my siblings a few years ago. One meal was the feast of the dead baby animals. We had veal, duckling, lamb, and a few other juvenile animals.

I grilled it just like a regular steak.
Room temperature, a brushing with some peanut oil and sprinkled with Emeril's Essence.
Red-hot grill for a few minutes to sear, turn and a few more minutes on the grill.
Removed from the grill when it felt medium-rare-ish and rested on a plate loosely covered with foil.

It was full of juicy, flavorful win!

When asked by bleeding hearts "How can you eat the meat of a baby animal?" I answer: "I am proud that I saved that baby animal from the cruel life an adult livestock food animal leads."
