The right fertilizers, at the right time, coupled with good watering habits and compulsive lawnmowing have produced the finest bed of Centipede my street has ever seen. I cut at 1", and my lawn is a mean, green freakin' putting green! A flat, deep green, beautiful lawn. I'm very proud, and thought I'd share.

Yes, but I was challenged!

I don't understand the logic in fertilizing a yard.

Then again, I hate mowing.

Hope so, cause we're seein' lots of brown spots.

I have the nicest lawn on my street.

I could make the same claim, but only for one big patch in the front yard. Due mostly to the fact I accidentally killed an 80 year old oak out there last year (it died when it fell over, umkay, let's leave it at that).

I live right across a guy like you. Makes my decent yard look like crap by comparison (and I fertilize, de-thatch, everything) - his is just so much nicer.

I hate you.

Be glad, be very glad that I don't live on your street!

In Houston (unlimited water, lots of heat and sun) a good lawn wasn't enough.
Mine rocked.
Sadly, in Suburbia, we do discuss lawns quite a bit.

If i saw a camera flash towards my house late at night, i'd be freaked and gather the arsenal.

you must have easy going neighbors.

my lawn sucks... the front is all dried out looking on one side an it's all pathcy in the back from the dogs playing. And yet I still take great pride in it when I break out the mower and trimmer... It migt not be green or have full coverage but I at least have it well groomed.
