OK mag whores and you know who you are.
I wanna know if you guys with a gajillion mags have enough ammo to fill them. I have ten 30s and six 20s and I can fill them all at any time and have plenty left over.

I have a little over 300 ar mags and no I can't fill all of them right now. About 3k rds short.

I have about 40 30 round AR mags and about a dozen 20 round mags right now.
I have enough ammo to load each mag two or three times. I have a dozen 30 round AK mags and I have enough ammo to load each mag 5 or 6 times. |

I only have about 30 AR mags and can fill them all. About half are full right now. I can only fill about half of my AK mags though. But that will change after the next gunshow.

I have counted my magazines and have over a hundred. I have no idea how many rounds of ammo I have total but know I have 1600 on stripper clips, a dozen 30 rounders loaded in .223, ten 20 rounders for each of my .308's, and several cubit feet of .223 and .308 in addition. The pistol rounds are less so their easier to estimate - a couple of thousand in 9 mm and .22 LR, and about a thousand in .38, .357, and .45

I have 30 AR mags all loaded, and enough on stripper clips in bandoleers to reload them all.
I am down to just one battle pack of boxed 5.56mm however, better call Ammoman. |

What are you kerry's speachwriter? If it dumb too have too many mags ,wouldn't it be dumb to have 50 ars? Can't shoot but one at a time. |

I have about thirty 30-rounders, and they are all currently filled, and can be filled many times over again with what I have on hand. And all my .30-06 ammo (all four cases) are already loaded on clips - so no worried there either

Yah, I can fill them at least 3-4 times. I have 10k rounds of 22LR, 5k of 9mm, 5K of 308, and 3k of 223, 1k of 12g. But I lost it all because my boat was not balanced correct so the guns and ammo all went overboard. Anybody have a loaner, for me.

I could keep them all filled, a couple of times over, but I don't. I keep a toolbox that neatly holds 28 30 round mags; those are all loaded. It makes it easier to take them to the range. 10 20 round mags loaded with special purpose ammo (the 69 gr BH and 75 gr Hornady that my precision ARs love) are alos packed up and ready to go. The other 100 or so AR mags are just stored away.
10 M14 mags and 10 FAL mags are loaded and ready to go. Not even sure how many other FAL mags I have around (I know there are 30 1950's FN mags still sealed in their original packing). 25 or so other M14 mag. Probably 10 AK-47 and 10 AK-74 mags loaded in the range case. I think that at least one of the 100 round chinese drums is loaded, too. I really have no clue how many AK-47 mags I have at the moment (though I know I only have 20 of the Bulgies), and I'm pretty sure there are at least 30 more AK-74 mags (I bought a bunch of the Bulgarian and found the EGs for $4 each in quantity). Like any good shopper I buy ammo when there are deals and I have the spare cash. It also probably helps that I haven't been able to get to the outdoor range much this year, and shooting centerfire reifles indoors at 25 yards is loud and boring. |

I have alot of mags shit I dont even know. But I know I cant fill them all at this very second. But I have enough supplies and I just need to fire up the dillon and I could be there in no time.
I have a problem in the summer I tend to shoot more than I reload? Hell thats what winter is for. |
