Is there an adapter that would allow me to hook up a wireless network
adapter to it?

Don't do it! Sony will track everything you do! There is a webcam in the front of your BD player! Make the fat neighbors sit naked in front of it for the first 24 hours so Sony turns it off!

This, and with mine you have to use the actual one from samsung. I could buy a wireless USB card for like $30, best buy wanted $80 for the correct one So I just moved my cable modem close enough so I could use a patch cable in the 10/100 ethernet port.

Does any one here actually use Blu Ray Live or is the ethernet port primarily just for updating the firmware?

I use my Blu Ray player online for Netflix and for Pandora. I haven't browsed the other features yet.

My BluRay is on the other side of the house from my hub, but I already have one Cat5e in that spot for my DVR.  Too bad the DVR runs gigabit (serves DVDs, MP3 and recorded shows to any computer or DVR in the house) or I'd just slap a small hub there and connect both.  I'm thinking split the wire, IIRC you only need four conductors for gigabit and there's eight in the cable, so the DVR can still go to the gigabit switch and the BluRay can go to the 10/100 router.
