I have an M4gery without a sight system It only has a matech BUIS.  I am thinking about putting a TA31RCOM4 on it but I  cant decide.  I am also trying to decide if I want to spend the money on a new pistol a glock17 or a kimber desert warrior.  What would you spend 1100 on if you had the money to blow on weapons.

Whatever you decide on.... get both of them.

It's the ARFCOM way.

KIMBER! KIMBER! KIMBER!

Or at least some sort of 1911.

I'd save up an extra $600 and buy an IPSC double stack 1911 race gun.

That is a good start.  If you get a Custom II or TLE, you might have enough money to pick up a decent optic like an Aimpoint.

If you don't have any .45's or Sigs, I'd suggest getting the Kimber 1st then getting a Sig 2nd.  I'm partial to Sigs over Glocks, but I'm most partial to .45's and .357 revolvers.

I honestly don't think you've started a thread that wasn't a question.

Get an HK.

Give it to me

And if that's not a valid option, get a Kimber.  I love mine.

My Kimber Custom II has 5000 rds without a failure and is dead on accurate.

new Kimber $600
ARMS mount for AR $100
Eotech or aimpoint $350

$50 left

Save $100 more for a Milt Sparks VM2 Holster and wilderness belt.

$1100. I'd say split it in half and get good optics with one half and a pistol with the other half.

I was going to suggest a Kimber or SIG sidearm and an EOtech for the M3gery.

Optics. I would finish out the AR and then proceed. If you buy a handgun, then you'll want ammo, a holster, etc., etc. You'll still have an AR w/o sights. Buy your scope and your natural, unquenchable need for a handgun will take care of itself.

That'll be 5 cents.

Put $1100 in a long term investment, or pay off  any debt that you have.  You'll thank me in the long run.  Money in the bank is a good thing these days.

Read the Dave Ramsey book on money management

Not as fun as a new toy, but good advice none the less.

Buy the Glock and an Aimpoint or Eotech for the M4.

These days, Id rather have you have a fully capable rifle AND pistol and go out and learn use them to take care of  you and your own.

Get a Glock 19, night sights, a good holster belt, holster and mag pouches. That'll run you $650. Take another $250 and take a day-long handgun training class from a nationally-recognized instructor. Use the rest of the money for ammo for the class and to apply for a carry permit.

You'll have a duty handgun and rig that will last a very long time that is small enough to carry, a permit to protect yourself, training so you don't shoot yourself in the foot, and good gear. You can also practice with a 9mm handgun at almost every centerfire range in the US and the ammo is relatively inexpensive.

Or you could buy a big bag of weed and get hot chicks, YMMV.

How about 1100 99 cent tacos from "Taco Hell"?

Then your ass would be a class 3 weapon!

Kimber is a great way to go for a pistol. You get allot for your money.

Get an Enfield no. 4 mark 1 and a proper scope and scope mount then go ahve some fun. Spend the rest on optics and training for your M4.

No offense, but I'm amazed that anyone buys those DE .44mags in the first place. You gotta have mitts the size of a kodiak bear to handle that thing right. I'll stick to my revolver in .44 mag thankyou.
