Just got a new '12 Jeep Grand Cherokee as a X-mas gift from the wife. That's all fine and good, but I can't stand driving it because of the lumbar support in the seat which - even when fully deflated - still results in a bump right at my lower back. I tried some other ones at the dealership and they are all the same. The seats are well reviewed and supposedly super-comfortable, so I must have mutant anatomy. Service at the dealership says they can't do anything. I am going to have to try to take the seat apart and take out the lumbar supports. Anybody else have one of these cars and have this problem? (I will say that - aside from the fact that the seat is making me a cripple - it seems to be a great ride.)

If you had a bad back, you would love it.

I never had a bad back before I got the car. Much more of this and maybe I'll need it.

Stick a knife in it.
