Boxers are GREAT!!!!!  That is a good looking pup you have there.  Are you thinking about having the ears cropped?

I miss my Boxer.  She was an absolute joy to be with.  I don't think you will be disappointed with your choice.

We thought of cropping the ears but it being a house dog---not for show(although he comes for Champ. bloodline)----we decided not to. Cody is his name. His Dad was approx. 75 lbs. He will prob weigh about 70/80 lbs. So far he's been great and smart to boot.

I understand.  Cropped ears are a lot of work, but I really like the look.  Is this your first Boxer?

Not a bad call on not cropping his ears. It does kind of look cool, but niether of my pits have cropped ears. In fact, I think sometimes dogs look better without. I think your pup looks great without.

It's a messy hassle, and extra bucks on top of it..........................

Don't boxers drool alloverthefucking place ? I have always been a fan of the breed, but know little about them.

Purdy cute!

Though I figured before I saw different that you'd likely gotten a cat ;)

No.  They don't drool.  They will get slobbered up pretty good when playing tug of war, or fetch "come and take it". (Mine would NEVER fetch! )

Also, they don't bark UNLESS something needs your attention.  If a Boxer barks, you need to go see what's up.

However, they do fart.

The photo is dark, but the pup appears to have Brindle markings.

+1, vanity is no excuse for operating on an animal. The dog doesn't give a shit about the shape of his ears.

Great looking dog, btw.

If they needed to have their ears cropped they would've been born with them cropped!
