Tendinitis in my rotator cuff. I am not looking forward to the Cortisone injection into my shoulder
Anyone else have this?

I've been told that hurts like a bitch, but it might give you relief and let it heal.

Been there, done that. No treatment. Finally went away but hurt like hell for quite a while....Took it easy on that arm and would take hot soaks/showers. Helped some, but not entirely.

I had a partial tear of my A-C ligament in my shoulder. I had constant pain every time I used my arm for anything strenuous. Finally, I got a cortisone shot so that I could at least work without pain. It hurt like hell for about 10 seconds, then lifted the 800 lb gorilla off of my shoulder. It was sweet.

I think I have the same thing. I got mine from a personal trainer

Burns like a bitch going in, after a day or two your shoulder will feel great

... this is true, and I might add: Start working the shoulder with a smart anaerobic regimen shortly afterward. Don't be shy, but don't over-train either

I had the cortisone shot in my right shoulder. It was no big deal, and the doc mixed a LOT of lidocane in the shot, so my relief was almost instant.

Then again I'm not afraid of needles
