Wow completely forgot about leaving these outside last night. I went the range came back home and cleaned them in the garage thats separate from the house and left them on a table on the side of the house. I brought in my backpack and other ammo cans and stuff and left these two rifles out there over night one in a soft case the other with no case.

Bullshit. GD told me if guns are left anywhere but in the safe or in your waistband they will be immediately stolen.
Link Posted: 12/20/2016 10:56:55 AM EST
when did you remember?

How far is your closest neighbor? I suppose that's the most important factor.

Went to the garage this morning and saw them on the way back to the house.

< I was like this.

I think what happened was I was gonna go back out to get them but food was ready so I just ate and forgot about everything...

You seem to be the kind of person that leaves dogs and children forgotten and locked up in hot cars.....

I was hoping for pics of snow covered ARs

Gone to bed several times and left a cocked-and-locked 1911 with spare mag on the bookshelf in the family room.

Bad form to arm burglars. Trying hard not to do that again.

If you're cold, they're cold.  Bring them in.

How many banks did those guns rob last night? Any schools shot up? How many drive-bys? OP supports crime.

Link Posted: 12/20/2016 11:16:16 AM EST
It's a miracle there wasn't a heaping PILE of dead children around the guns when you returned to them.
Link Posted: 12/20/2016 11:17:37 AM EST
I've left tools outside before as well. It happens OP

GD is the only place I have ever been where people forget where they leave and even own $1k+ items.

I would've woke up in the middle of the night like this:
That's when I usually remember stuff I forgot during the day.

I forgive you...

Feel better?

Why does this matter?

I have a Rifle that stays in a soft case that is zip tied to the rack on my gator. Stays outside year round, but garages at night

You left TWO unsupervised rifles outside all night?

I think you're going to looking at selling a few AR pistols in a few months.

I saw at least 15 two stamp guns at Cola Warrior East 3 left out for 2 nights at the campsite. Dead bodies everywhere.

I left a 33 round Glock mag outside for like a week once.

I've got a 1911 that's been missing about 8 years  Don't know if it got stolen or just lost somewhere.  I left all my guns at my parents when I went to Iraq.  I thought I shot it when I got back, but I may have just shot my other black 1911.  Haven't seen it since 2008.

Getting older sucks. I do stuff like that all the time.

Yesterday I went out to start the car and let it warm up. Saw I had a low tire and hooked up the little cigarette lighter compressor because it was cold as heck and went back inside to grab my briefcase and say bye to the wife. She asks me my thoughts on a potential grounding of one of our boys. Ten minutes later i am mid-lecture with said son and suddenly remember the compressor is still locked onto my valvestem.

See my thread ( Need arfcom logic) Shot suppressor off weapon, three days still missing.
Link Posted: 12/20/2016 11:40:24 AM EST
I left an M&P Shield on my truck toolbox for a few miles. It was holster and someone managed to stay there, I was going down a hill and saw it in my rear view mirror. That felt worse than the time I bought 2 huge boxes of nails at Home Depot, but left them on my bumper. I got on the freeway for a few miles, and when I got to the job noticed that only one of them was still there.

I probably need something to help my memory.

Also, my mom is having trouble finding her SP101. I THINK it's lost in her bedroom. Idk, will make her look for it.

She may have had it hidden somewhere at the family cabin, which was recently broke into. It MIGHT, MAYBE have been in there. I doubt it though.

No, I told you. Not a sub forum. Which is why it's so stupid.

So I suppose the smarminess is suggesting that it's just fine to lose track of guns?

I know GD is full of absolute fucking retards, but that some real Tier 1 shit right there.

Not firearm related but...a perfect afternoon with the right tide and hours left in the day...run home and walk out to the dock and load the boat and all is great...drop it in the water and think about how Tampa bay looks at sunset...get to your secret spot , turn around to pick up my high dollar new setup fishin rod...not in the boat , left on the dock 12 inchs from where I set the lift switch down ...

I went camping one time and when I was finished shooting I leaned my AR against my truck and forgot about it.  It was a hot summer evening and I drank a few beers and went to sleep.  I woke the next morning to see a dew covered rifle where I left it the night before.  I was in a very remote place tucked in between some willows along an Ozark stream.  Heck one time I left a saw behind while camping in the same spot, I went back months later and it was still where I left it, a little rusty, but still there.

Not trying to beat you up- but damn !!! are you over 60 or something ? You left 2 AR rifles outside and never realized it ?

You know how I know you're doing it wrong? It's because you put your cleaning supplies away before your rifles.
